There was another topic on this but I don't feel it explained the problem in depth enough in order for someone to help, I've included an image and a more informative description of the situation that occurs. It's quite simple, the game freezes when I open this door, it doesn't close, or end, it just locks up.

same thing is happening to me...I take it it's a bad rip thing cause you're not supposed to have the ghost key till after you kill the ghost
as a matter of fact you don't even have the ghost's key in your inventory when that happenes...if anybody finds an easy solution let me know (e-mail please),meanwhile Im just gonna d-load another version
